Dissertation
"Intellectual property strategy and patent valuation"
- In my dissertation I address the measurement problem of the value of patents from micro- and macroeconomic perspectives. I develop a bridge between the modern theoretical modeling aproaches and the real-world corporate in-house estimations via survey methods, randomized experiment and a macro model. My research sheds light on the legitimacy of theoretical assumptions in patent valuation.
Three chapters:

Research Profile
Since september 2016 I have been a PhD Candidate under the supervision of Professor Christopher Tucci. I hold a Master of Sciences in Management from University of Lausanne. My research focuses on strategic aspects of intellectual property and its assessment for companies. Particularly, I am interested in patent data and innovation. I am developing an Open Innovation framework for the intellectual property management in collaboration with the intellectual property team at a multinational corporation. I participate in a joint study (randomized experiment in corporate policy) with Professor Neil Thompson from Massachusetts Institute of Technology X-Lab.
